In the last few days , Jiangxi New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., LTD. (hereinafter called "New Jiangzhou") and Singapore ship owner OM Maritime Pte. LTD. (hereinafter called "OM Maritime ") held a grand signing ceremony for two 13,800DWT of duplex stainless steel Chemical Tankers. At the signing ceremony, Mr. Wu Qiuping, General Manager of New Jiangzhou, and Captain Subhangshu Dutt, Managing Director of OM Maritime, officially signed the contracts on behalf of both parties.

The series of 13,800DWT ocean-going duplex stainless steel Chemical Tankers signed this time is a high-performance vessel custom-made by New Jiangzhou for OM Maritime . The vessel is a stern type design with single shafting and pitch OARS, complying with highest emission standards, the vessel shall be distinguished and under the BV Classification Society. The vessel is capable of carrying a variety of cargoes including Chemicals, Acids, Petroleum products and edible oils.
